HUNTER'S OAK TREE, DAFFODIL & FRUIT PICKING IN THE TAMAR VALLEY & ST DOMINICK

thanks to Terry

Here we see workers picking, bunching, & packing double white daffodils in 1928. Terry's Grandmother & Great Grandmother are in the photographs. The spot is Pitt Meadow at St Dominick. The older shot of Hunter's Oak is pre 1925, while the modern one is 2006. There is also a photo of strawberry pickers, again at St Dominick. The young girl with ribbons - in the centre - is Terry's Grandmother, while the lady at her right is his Great Grandmother. This photo is around 1914.
